Today was my first day in Southern California and, for dinner, my friend treated me to seafood at King’s Fish House in Calabasas, California.  The server was leading us to our table and I hear this woman’s voice.  I recognize her face, but I don’t place who she is until I’ve already walked past her. […]...

This has to be one of the most amazing pictures I’ve taken with my Canon SX30 IS Camera.  Meet John…our neighborhood Blue Jay!  He LOVES peanuts!  In fact, that is my hand in the picture AND I’m the photographer.  He’s saying hi with a peanut in his mouth while looking at the camera!  How freakin […]...

This past weekend, we attended the Kids Day in the Plaza Event – held near the Mission San Luis Obispo in Downtown San Luis Obispo, California.  Everything was kid-based and most things were FREE!  The boys had a blast!  I just wish we could have spent more time at the event....

This is John.  John is a Blue Jay who loves peanuts.  My dad has trained him to take peanuts out of our hands and it’s so neat when he flies up to you and takes it right out of your hands! Check out the video below.  P.S. I totally realized I forgot to include Sam’s […]...
