Support Your Central Coast Firefighters This Sunday!
I am so thankful for the men and women that serve as firefighters for our county (and country). Recently, we had a Cub Scout activity where my Tiger Cubs (and parents) had the opportunity to visit with our local firefighters. At the visit, we learned about the equipment that firefighters wear and use, complete with plastic firefighter hats for the boys (and siblings) to wear during the visit. We then took a tour of the fire station, complete with kitchen safety tips and smoke alarm tips. Then the boys experienced the power of the fire hose! They LOVED that! I think the firefighters did too! LOL
Our firefighters do so much to keep our community safe and now we have the opportunity to show our gratitude for their service! Not to mention….a bunch of good looking firefighters in one spot….cooking? Who would miss out on a chance to take advantage of that???
