Today was my first day in Southern California and, for dinner, my friend treated me to seafood at King’s Fish House in Calabasas, California. The server was leading us to our table and I hear this woman’s voice. I recognize her face, but I don’t place who she is until I’ve already walked past her. It was Peri Gilpin! She plays Roz Doyle in one my favorite television shows, “Frasier!” I was so excited and really wanted to take a picture of her or tell her I thought she did an amazing job as the character of Roz Doyle in “Frasier,” but I learned quickly from my friend and the server that it wasn’t proper etiquette to do that in this part of town. The server also said that they get other famous actors, including Joe Rogan of “Fear Factor” and Brad Garrett of “Everybody Loves Raymond.”

So, the actress in King’s Fish House was exciting but the food was also great! I had a hard time deciding what I wanted, but I knew for sure I wanted seafood. I finally decided on the Wild Alaskan Scallops and Mexican Shrimp, with French Fries and Homemade Mac & Cheese. It was so good!!! Plus, our server was super friendly and very attentive, refilling our drinks in a timely fashion.
If you love seafood and want an opportunity to possibly spot a celebrity or two, I would highly recommend King’s Fish House in Calabasas, California!

That shrimp skewer thing looks awesome! Over the past year I have had a new found love of shrimp! I’m always requesting a shrimp boil at family dinners lol!
Yep. L.A.’s crawling with those celeb types. Pics are a definite no-no! I live within walking distance of three major studios and often feel the urge to say, “Do you know who you are?!”
