Kids in the Kitchen – It’s Brownie Time!
I love to bake and cook in the kitchen and it’s not surprising that our kids love to help get involved. Often times, when I’m getting ready to make something, at least one of our kids will come into the kitchen to see what’s cookin’ and ask if they can help. I try to give them something to do, whether it’s pouring the box of contents into the bowl, breaking the eggs, mixing the batter or stirring the eggs. They love it! I thought it would be fun to start a new Kids in the Kitchen series on The Mommy-Files!
Not only do they love cooking and helping in the kitchen like the grownups do, but they love seeing and hearing the positive reactions of those enjoying their creations! Most recently, Dallen helped to make brownies for dessert for the family one night. He loved breaking the eggs in the bowl and mixing it all together. He was especially excited to lick the bowl and eat the cooked, warm, gooey brownies! He will definitely be making more stuff in the kitchen!
**Note: When having your kids help in the kitchen, have them do what they can based on their age. Always supervise them when helping cook in the kitchen.**
Do your kids cook in the kitchen?
What is their favorite thing to make?

My kids don’t cook anything yet, but I guess than when they will, their favorite thing to do will be a choko cake. That’s the most favorite dish of all kids, and it’s even more tasty when cooked with one’s own hands. Thanks for sharing )))
