Happy Thanksgiving!
Yay! It’s officially Thanksgiving! This is one of my favorite holidays, other than Christmas. I love it because it gives me a chance to sit down and think about the blessings in my life. Sometimes it’s easy to get caught up in the stresses of life, such as divorce, finances, and other personal challenges. I am so thankful for my amazing, beautiful, and healthy boys. They bring so much joy to my life and are full of love and life! I am also so thankful for my parents, who have helped me through a very difficult time in my life.
I am thankful for my family who have been a source of support to me, as well as the friends I have made in my life. I am thankful for my health and happiness. I am so thankful for the blessings that have come through The Mommy-Files. I have made some amazing friends (we’ll always have Wilton and Smucker’s), worked with some awesome PR reps, and had some fabulous review opportunities. I have had the opportunity to travel to places such as Minnesota (General Mills), Ohio (Smucker’s), and Illinois (Wilton).
I am so thankful for the blessings in my life and hope each one of you takes a moment to think about the blessings in your life. We all have trials and challenges, but they make us stronger and mold us into the individuals we are today. We are given an opportunity to help others who face similar situations as us and become a source of strength to them.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving, Shannon! This has been a wonderful year for me too and I’m so glad to have met you this year through MOPS! Hope the year to come has more blessings in store for you via the blog and irl! Thanks for letting me make a cameo on The Mommy Files too! Our pie baking day was a blast!!!
Happy Thanksgiving a day late. I liked the post, today is my day to do nothing, well I had to clean up the kitchen and I’m thankful that I didn’t do it last night as I had 22 people for dinner and everyone was happy about it. It was nice to see all my nieces and nephews and just be with family even though it was a lot of work. I like to think that I brought a little joy into other people’s lives even if it’s just providing a CLEAN place for people to gather and have a hot meal. Life is good, even after all the past year’s drama.
