my PARENTS!
Mom is coming down today and my husband and I are going on our first date since The Dark Knight was in theaters! My son is almost 16 months old and I haven’t been away from him EVER for more than 3 hours. Hubby and I are staying one night in a hotel before a two-night backpacking trip. I am so excited and it’s going to be so awesome for the boys to hang with Grandma all weekend and get a break from me, who has been known lately as “crabby mom.” My 5-year-old says “Mom and Dad are going hiking to ‘get happy.’ ” LOVE IT!
My folks live 6 hours away so I really appreciate mom coming down to do this.
Pointy shoes, presents for our anniversary, pickles, patterns for new crochet projects! 🙂
Come link up to my thankful post!
I am thankful for the water slide that my family helped me to purchase for my kids…it was such a treat to go out into the backyard last night and have a blast!
Parents, Patience, and Parks!!
Peas! I am thankful for peas since they are one of the veggies my daughter will eat. We are growing a lot in our backyard and I’m excited to eat them this summer!
I am thankful for my parents, pizza, pasta, persistence, purple, patriots, prayers and my part-time work with full-time pay!!!
Peanuts, pistachios, Kung PAO Scallops, nice PEOPLE, patience, a POTTY TRAINED kid, pickles, parmesan, parcheesi, the color purple, pens, pancakes, little piggies, popsicles, lolliPOPS, pampering, good parenting, wonderful pets, homemade pincushions, corpse POSE (savasna).
Phoenix (my 17 month old son)! He’s absolutely amazing, and I love him more than anything 🙂
I’m thankful for peace (both in the world and in my household!), pizza, parenting, prayer, and pregnancy (I loved it).

Shannon,
Your Thankful Thursday posts are a great reminder to be grateful for the little things. Have you seen http://www.ThankfulHome.tv? It would be wonderful if you could help us spread the word about being thankful for our homes.
God bless,
