Spring is right around the corner as these flowers show us!  I believe they’re tulips.  What do you think?

  3. I took pictures of the first bulbs to bloom today. I do it every year. We have petite daffodils up in the yard. I’m so happy that spring is right around the corner.

    Those are crocuses! 🙂

    I love them. They’re always the first brave little flower to poke through the snow here in Michigan. I think we’re at least a month–probably two–away from seeing any flowers here!

    So pretty.

    I can’t wait to see the crocuses pop up…although it will be a while with all the snow. I keep telling myself, “spring is right around the corner….”. I can’t wait!

  21. Those are gorgeous! Are those Crocus? My daffodils are opening up and it is SO nice to see some color in the yard again!

  22. Yep, those are crocus. They will, at times, peep up through the snow. They are also where the herb saffron comes from.
    I’m in Ohio too….in Ohio…buried under the snow….trying to peep up through the snow….in Ohio.

    They are crocus because I have some in my yard,and they are the first flower to bloom.The only
    thing they do not last very long.I have purple ones.We have snow covering our yard and I am
    looking forward to spring:)
