My question is:
Do you buy Halloween candy when it first comes out in the stores? If so, do you eat it or save it for Halloween?
IÂ have to admit that I buy it when it comes out and it DOES NOT last until Halloween – lol!!!
We have not yet bought candy. We do not open it until halloween night, otherwise we’d eat it.
No, I’m a last minute halloween shopper. We buy the candy just before.
I almost bought it today at Wal Mart, but I made myself keep going… It was hard to do, but it ended up being for the best!

Why who’s asking are u then candy patrol? LOL I try to hold out til Halloween but I eat it all and end up buying more I know shame on me
I’m buying last minute.. because here in Germany there’s no such thing as Halloween.. not on the same dates as in States however.. they have some sort of Halloween celebration but i forgot when it was. Anyway… but i do tend to buy the fall decoration right when they hit the store. and this turned out to be the worst move.. as for the end of fall when they put in the winter ornaments, they have all the fall deco for SALE! so experiencing that last year, this year I’m waiting for the sale edition:) smart huh?

I’m not even sure I’m buying candy this year. I haven’t had trick or treaters come by in years, and I don’t want to end up eating the candy myself.
I usually buy some early and have to hide it.
We don’t buy it until right before Halloween because I would eat it all WAY before trick or treaters came!!
I buy Halloween candy the day I need it. Seriously, with myself, DH, and 3 teen boys, candy does not stand a chance in this house.
I use to by it, but then it would be gone by Halloween , so now I do not buy it early.
We usually wait until the sales hit and get a little. Not a lot of people come here, but I am afraid that a Saturday Halloween could change that a lot.
I usually wait til the week of Halloween and buy it on sale. Hopefully it’s not old candy by then. lol
If I buy it long before, I have to buy extra so I can justify eating it!!! Otherwise, I have to hide it or make my husband hide it so I don’t eat it.
Living out in the country we don’t get Trick or Treaters so we forgo buying any candy.
I sure do buy some right away and we sure do eat it! Then we have to go and buy more!
We buy the candy to give out on Halloween right before Halloween (otherwise we would eat it all and just have to buy more) — but I do admit to grabbing a few bags of favorites before then so I can enjoy them for a while 🙂
I buy it early, and bring it to work.

We buy the candy a few weeks before Halloween to ensure that it doesn’t sell out but we try super hard not to open it until Halloween day (and then we sneak a few pieces lol)
I’ve learned NOT to buy it since I can’t seem to stay away from it … Even though I keep saying oh only one piece 🙂
I buy it when it’s on sale as close to Halloween as possible so I don’t eat it all before Halloween comes!
When we do have trick-or-treaters (depends on where we are living), we usually buy about 2-3 days ahead of time. We make sure not to open the bags until Halloween night, just before the doorbell rings for the first time. But….once they are open, everyone things that they are fair game. hahaha….I wouldn’t dare touch it though!!!
I don’t buy Halloween candy at all….we live out in the country so no one comes by. That solves that little problem 🙂
I buy candy to giveaway and whatever left, I use as incentives for potty training or the likes 🙂
We generally try to avoid buying any.
We always get it a few weeks before hand-Then it’s gone by Halloween and we have to get more. Lol
My mum has tried hiding it from us all, but that never works…It’s a weird sort of tradition with us I guess you could say =)
We buy a little each week starting several weeks before Halloween as soon as it starts to go on sale, because we get about 200 kids in our neighborhood and I make little baggies – Halloween is a HUGE holiday in our community! I keep it in the freezer though, so we do NOT eat it and so that it stays fresh.
I do usually buy one bag that we do like so that we have something to munch on, but we are pretty good about it because we are both on special diets, but I have to NOT buy dark chocolate… or I’m just DONE for, it’s my FAVE!!!

I actually buy the Halloween when Halloween is over like that week when it goes on sale!! 🙂
I’m not really a candy person- give me some chips and I’m happy! =) I don’t usually buy any Halloween candy other than to hand out.
