It’s hard to believe that our wedding is less than 7 months away. The time is starting to fly by now more quickly than it was 5 months ago! I’m getting so excited and can’t wait to marry my best friend. Wedding planning has included shopping for a wedding dress, as well as a veil, shoes and other accessories to go with my bridal attire. One of those pieces was a Coach purse given to me by one of my best blogging buddies and bridesmaids, Tanya.
You should know that I’ve never owned anything from Coach before – pretty much because I can’t afford it and so never really stopped to look at their products! We have a Coach Outlet store near us, but I guess I just never felt the need to go inside the store. I have friends and family who love name brand stuff (and I don’t mind hand me downs or hand me ups that are name brands), but I just can’t justify buying them myself. There are so many other things I can spend that money on!
However, I was excited when I received a pretty, ivory-colored Coach purse from Tanya! What normally would have cost around $58 plus tax was purchased for $19.00 (including tax). I was pretty excited to receive this great gift from her and to wear it with my wedding dress (it will fit my phone and lipstick – yay!), as well as on our honeymoon cruise!
Did you have a purse or other accessories with you on your wedding day?
Awww, congrats. I have about a million of them because Coach is my one vice. Plus we have an outlet store about 15 minutes from my house.
Not long to go now :).I have a bag and shoe obsession those are my 2 weakness lol.I did not have any for my wedding though.
My wedding accessory was my husband. I had him on my arm like a bag through the whole thing!

Oh yay! I have a black Coach clutch that was my first Coach purse. I now have four additional Coach bags and their sunglasses (two pairs.) I’m obsessed with the outlet store, and the outlet online. 🙂 (My accessories for my wedding day were handmade, and I had a small clutch but it was fairly inexpensive.)
I love clutches, and this one looks beautiful. You can’t go wrong with a clutch. They go with everything!
CONGRATS on the upcoming wedding! I have a ton of Coach purses, wallets you name it. 🙂 We have an outlet near by and occasionally and I would buy the new stuff, but not too often. As for my wedding day all I had was my dress, no purses. 🙂
That wristlet is adorable. The only way I have been able to own Coach is through their outlet store or a discount store like TJMaxx.
That is so awesome! My husband and I got married at the Justice of the Peace so we didn’t have any accessories on us but our cell phone lol.
I had some kind of silver sequined small purse that had my lip gloss and some other small items.
How exciting! That is so pretty! I don’t think I had anything with me but my flowers and ring! Oh, and dress, LOL.
I am in the process of planning my wedding so I’m not sure yet. Love the purse what a fabulous idea!
We did get married but it was just us 3 in the Rabbi;s office. After living together for 20 years I could not see making a fuss. But I l do love Coach!

I love that little purse! It was a great gift for your wedding. I didn’t have any wedding accessories like that, but my daughter bought a beautiful pair of shoes for her wedding that she can wear over and over.

Cute purse. I did, it was one of my mom’s purses that she used when she got married.
I have not had a wedding so I can’t really weigh in on that question but how very nice of your friend to get you such a beautiful gift! 🙂

How cute and the perfect size for a wedding! I’m like you, and I can’t see buying a name brand purse. I just get one at Walmart or occasionally Charming Charlies. My daughter on the other hand owns a few Coach purses!

For my wedding I had nothing but my flowers. I love a wristlet – it is now the only bag I use! Both hands are free and not heavy!

I have a cute Coach clutch that I got as a gift from one of my students. A student who I went above and beyond for when he was in my class…I guess the mom realized that and wanted to treat me. I was blown away when I opened it.
I love Coach and own a couple bags. I love the colours, selection and quality!

That purse is too cute. I have a little purse for my wedding day as well and it carried my chap-stick, wipes, safety pins, and such. I loved having one and I am sure you will too… especially one that can be used again and again.
I didn’t carry a purse on my wedding day/ Perhaps I will when I renew my vows this month.

That was very nice of Tanya! Your wedding will be here before you know it. I don’t own a Coach purse. I won’t pay an outrageous price for anything, regardless of name brand. However, I will use name brand if I can get it for free or on a really, really good sale.

My vice is Louis Vitton bags, but I would never buy one for myself. I did receive one as a b-day gift from a friend and I was so excited. I’ve only worn it twice because it’s so small and I’m afraid of losing it (it cost $800 – totally insane, right?).
I don’t even remember what bag I wore on my wedding day, it was probably my regular bag because I needed everything with me and my boys.
