Stouffer’s Family Dinner Giveaway

Eating dinner as a family is a great way to get to know members of your family and develop the bonds that make a family strong.  I was excited to work with Stouffer’s on a fun giveaway focused on families spending dinner time together.  As part of this campaign, I received a fun book called Let’s Fix Dinner, written by Todd Parr.

Let’s Fix Dinner is a fun and colorful book that talks about some of the events that take place in the day of different family members and then some of the benefits of eating dinner together as a family.  The book will make you giggle, grin, and think about all the ways dinner can bring families close together.  Since regular dinners and reliable housing are two of the best ways to help families – and especially kids – succeed, 100% of the net proceeds from sales of the Let’s Fix Dinner will support Habitat for Humanity.  The book sells online for $7.99 plus shipping.

MY THOUGHTS

  1. I would ask: If you were stranded on a deserted island and could only have three items with you, what would they be and why?

  2. My daughters are teens, so a fun question to ask would be who there first crush was. Thanks for the review and giveaway.

  3. If you could pick one person, living or dead, to have dinner with, who would it be?

(And, no, you’re not allowed to answer “lving one”!

  4. I would ask them if they could go anywhere in the world, where would they want to go, why they want to go there and what they would do there.

  6. You really don’t have to ask them anything–the expressions they make tells the story–my kids are rotten and to see them with a straw up their nose or anything like that is the norm 🙂

  7. I would ask : “What is the first thing you would buy if you won 1 million dollars?”

  8. If you could choose new colors to represent christmas which colors would you choose?

  9. I would ask my husband and and our 3 sons where they would like to go for family vacation and why.(chucosbabygirl(at)yahoo(dot)com)

  10. “You you could have any magic/super power, what would it be and how would you use it?”

  11. —–> Whoops, I put the wrong e-mail in the above comment. It should be the one in the entry box, not the one I typed in (although either will work).

Ok, so for entry #2, I follow you on Twitter as cezovski

  12. I used to ask my kids “What would you like to do when you grow up?”, and then I’d ask “Do you think that you are doing well enough in school to attain your goal?” Well, the child who always answered that he wanted to be a music teacher turned out to make a career in Law Enforcement, and the one who wanted to be an artist became a teacher for a while, and is now the stay at home Mom to 2 young girls who are extremely artistic!

  13. Thanks for the giveaway…a fun family question you could ask at your dinner table: “What character in a book you have read would you invite to dinner, and why ?”.
