On August 20th, 2010, Universal Pictures will release “Nanny McPhee Returns” in theaters across the country.  I remember watching the original “Nanny McPhee” and it was a really cute movie!  I look forward to seeing “Nanny McPhee Returns” with my boys!

Synopsis:

In Nanny McPhee Returns, Oscar®-winning actress and screenwriter Emma Thompson returns to the role of the magical nanny who appears when she’s needed the most and wanted the least in the next chapter of the hilarious and heartwarming fable that has enchanted children around the world.
 
In the latest installment, Nanny McPhee appears at the door of a harried young mother, Mrs. Isabel Green (Maggie Gyllenhaal), who is trying to run the family farm while her husband is away at war. But once she’s arrived, Nanny McPhee discovers that Mrs. Green’s children are fighting a war of their own against two spoiled city cousins who have just moved in and refuse to leave.
 
Relying on everything from a flying motorcycle and a statue that comes to life to a tree-climbing piglet and a baby elephant who turns up in the oddest places, Nanny McPhee uses her magic to teach her mischievous charges five new lessons.

    We LOVED the first Nanny Mcphee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I used to tell my niece I would make her some secret toast and she always thought it was special so she would eat the whole thing! I can’t wait til my son is old enough to enjoy it too.Yes,If there was a nanny Mcphee, I would ask her to come and stay with me for a while!

    Yes, I did see the first movie and thought it was very cute. I don’t think having a nanny like her in our household would work very well. I like things done my way, and another woman in the house trying to take charge would drive me crazy!

    I did see Nanny McPhee and loved it. If she existed, I would use her but would not want to know that she had those powers. But I would wonder if I was paying her too much if she got better looking over time.

    Yes, we saw the first Nanny McPhee movie and loved it.

    Although my children are for the most part very well behaved, I have definitely had days when I would have loved to have seen Nanny McPhee take over for me.
