This was mentioned on Facebook by a fellow blogger and I’d forgotten how much I loved it.  It’s so beautiful and so full of meaning.  It’s sung by Lisa Lavie and she does an amazing job! Enjoy!

    That song always give me goose bumps–just beautiful and haunting. I’ve never heard of Lisa Lavie, but what a fabulous voice she has.

    Two other memorable performances of this song–k.d. lang singing it during the 2010 Winter Olympic opening ceremony in Vancover and Jason Casto doing it during American Idol.
