“Backyardigans: Escape From the Tower” DVD Review

My boys really enjoy watching The Backyardigans.  I have to admit I love them as well and often find myself singing along in the background – lol!  On Tuesday, March 30th, Nickelodeon and Paramount Home Entertainment released Backyardigans: Escape From the Tower on DVD. This is a fun DVD with singing and dancing that your children (and you) will enjoy! The DVD is available online and in stores and retails for $16.99.

“Backyardigans: Escape From the Tower” has three new-to-DVD episodes.  Follow five high-spirited neighbors as they meet in their adjoining backyards and use their imaginations to transform themselves into different locations for fun adventures.  Each half-hour episode features a unique music or dance genre with four original songs, along with real choreographed movements shown through animation.  “Backyardigans: Escape from the Tower” introduces preschoolers to the music genre of 60’s girl groups, Bhangra and Mariachi, while the Fresh Beat Band episode is themed with Hawaiian Music, including the Hula!
