“WordGirl” is a favorite show in our home.  On March 30th, PBS Kids and Paramount Home Entertainment released a fun DVD called,Word Girl: Earth Day Girl.” “WordGirl” is a fun animated series that follows the every day life and superhero adventures of “WordGirl” as she fights crime and enriches vocabulary usage, all in a day’s work.  “WordGirl: Earth Day Girl” is out just in time for Earth Day (April 22nd)!  You can purchase the DVD online or in stores and retails for $14.99.  The DVD includes eight adventures, interactive games, video shorts, and coloring pages.  Plus, each episode introduces four new vocabulary words and reinforces their meanings in different contexts.

“WordGirl: Earth Day Girl” is presented in widescreen with Dolby Digital English Stereo. The run time is 100 minutes. The DVD includes the following:
