Wilton Birthday Package Review & Giveaway

I LOVE Wilton Products! As a family of 5 living on one income, it can be challenging to purchase store bought cupcakes and cakes for birthday parties, school events, and church events. Plus, it just doesn’t taste as good as homemade cupcakes, cookies, and cakes! This is where Wilton comes in. You can purchase tools and accessories to make decorating affordable, simple, and fun!

I was so excited to open the Birthday Package I received from Wilton and used some of the accessories right away at Dallen’s 4th Birthday Party. The kids (and the parents) found decorating cupcakes fun and easy!  I loved how easy the products were to use and how fun they made the baking process!

For Dallen’s birthday (on the actual day), I made  him a birthday cake with the Ultragold Cake Pans and loved them!  What is so special about Ultragold Pans?  Ultragold Cake Pans are made of Premium Aluminum, provides even heating so pans don’t warp, has a durable anodized surface, and has oversized handles making it easy to lift.  The cake pan retails for $14.99.

Once the cake had cooled off, I frosted it and wrote a message with the Sparkle Gels!  They are so easy to use and write with!  Plus I love how they “sparkle” on the cake!  You can find the Sparkle Gels in black, blue, gold, green, pink, red, yellow, white, and orange!  You can purchase these for $2.99 a tube.

Decorating also comes easy with the Wilton Ready-to-Use Icing Tubes.  You can use these with the Wilton Tip and Nail Set or Coupler Ring Set and any standard size Wilton metal tip.  Each tube is 4.25 ounces and retails for $1.99 per tube.

I prepared the cupcakes using the Assorted Primary Colors Baking Cups and the kids loved them. You can purchase the baking cups for $2.09 for a package of 75. They are also available in Pastel Colors and you can purchase these for $1.59 for a package of 75. You can find both in the miniature size as well.

I baked the cupcakes in the Tri-Tanium Muffin Pan, which is amazing.   The Tri-Tanium Muffin Pan has non-stick coating that resists scratching from metal utensils.  I love the professional heavy-weight construction of this pan.  This allows for even heat distribution.  The size is permanently stamped on the handles for quick and easy reference when preparing your recipes.  The pan retails for $21.99.

If you want to give your cupcakes some extra fun, check out the Wraps ‘n Pix!  They are easy and will jazz up your cupcakes in no time!  You can choose from different themes, including Wheels (pictured), Celebration, The Big Top, Jungle Pals, Princess, Sweet Dots, and more.  With Wraps n’ Pix, you add 3-D excitement to your cupcakes.  The Wraps ‘n Pix comes with 12 cupcake wraps and 24 pix.  It retails for $3.49 per package.

I also really love the idea of the Photo Cake Toppers.  You can choose from a variety of themes, including Big Top (pictured), Celebration, Princess, Sweet Dots, Wheels, Jungle Pals, and more!  You can give your cake a personal touch with this fun topper that features a 2 x 2 inch opening for you to put a special message or fun photo of the birthday boy or girl!  The topper measures 4.25 inches wide x 5 inches high.  It retails for $1.99.

What are cupcakes without sprinkles, right?  I love the variety of Sprinkles you find with Wilton.  You have several different colors, shapes, and sizes to choose from!  My boys loved the Animals and Stars 6 Mix Sprinkles.  They also enjoyed the Non-Pareils 6-Mix Sprinkle Assortment , the Bright Sugar 4-Mix Sprinkles, and Primary Sugars 4-Mix Sprinkles. You can also decorate your cupcakes, cookies, or cakes with the Colored Sugar Sprinkles, available in an assortment of colors, as well as Rainbow Jimmies!  To top it off, you’ll love the Icing Decorations, which include Wheels, Celebration, Princess, Sweet Dots, Jungle Pals, Big Top, and more!  The kids will have a blast decorating (and eating) these adorable decorations.

    •Checkerboard Cake Pan
    •Tip: 18
    •Tip: 48
•Tip: 233 so I could make that beautiful cake for my husbands 33rd wdding anniversary. 19. I’d like to try the checkerboard cake pan….it probably would be an ‘adult-only’ activity as I can see it takes quite a few steps to achieve that wonderful checkerboard look but I am up to it.

  20. Hi, I would LOVE to win this package! My “wilton wish list” includes the brownie flower pop silicone molds, actually most of the silicone molds would be so much fun, and the 6 cup big cupcake silicone mold, too. I’m already a fan on facebook, a follower of you, and a subscriber to your emails. I also voted for you on Top Mommy Blogs.

  21. Though I’m a nerd with a science background, one thing on my “bucket list” is to learn how to make those great cakes I see on TV and our local specialty bakeries…. but I think I would need to start a little smaller so I would love to try out the It’s growing season cookies on the lollipop sticks! They look soooo cute!

  22. Thank you for the giveaway. This is exactly what my daughter wants to do this year for her birthday, cupcakes!! Another product I like are the cupcake towers/tiers.

  24. I would like the checkerboard cake pan because I’ve always wanted to make one of those checkerboard cakes.

  25. I’ve been wanting their Cupcakes ‘N More® 23 Count Standard Dessert Stand for a while now. We always have neighborhood parties where we make cupcakes and let the kids decorate them, and this would be so great for that.

  26. I would love the Dora the Explorer Pan. My neice is in love with Dora and it would be great to have this pan to make her 3rd birthday cake.

  27. I would love to try the 53 Piece Cake Decorating Set. I want to learn to decorate cakes better than just icing them!

  28. You are not the only one who loves Wilton. When we bake a cake we know we can always count on Wilton items. Love all their cookie cutters as well. So cool. If I could pick anything from their site I would probably go with the butterfly pan. There is several other pans I would love to have as well.

  29. I love the Monkey Munchie Cupcakes….I call my grandson Monkey so these would be so cute for his birthday.. Thanks so much for the offer 🙂

  30. I’d choose a decorating kit but I know my kids would die over the color flame candles. They look really fun!

  31. I visited Wilton and I’d love to try their Star Power Fondant Imprint Mat, those look really awesome and I think I will try them!
