  10. I used to collect Curious George stuff and then before I got married I gave them away. Now I wish I still had them. Curious George is such a cute monkey and love that YELLOW and RED are colors to represent him, and the collectible stuff is so cute. A funny loveable monkey.

  11. I love Curious George because he is always getting into some sort of trouble but in a fun way. Another great memory from my childhood and reading all the fun stories! Thank you!

  12. My favorite memory is the one where the man in the yellow hat gets poison ivy (created all sorts of interesteing stories in our house!)

  13. What I love about George is he doesn’t talk. He makes regular monkey noises, and I love that. So many cartoons have a talking everything, which is fine, but I think kids need some reality too.

  15. I remember getting Curious George books from the library as a child and also reading them to my own children. Thanks for the chance.

  16. We love how curious and honest George is! I loved the first time my son watched the cartoon… the nonverbals were easy for a one year old to enjoy and laugh with.

  17. I love that my son loves George. He is known as Georgio in our house like Chef Pasgetti calls him in the show. Our son and daughter both sleep with a Georgio doll at night.

  18. Whenever I think of Curious George I think of my little brother. He LOVED Monkeys and Curious George was his favorite! I actually tried to write him a curious George book for his birthday one year…I was like in the 4th grade and he was in Kindergarten, so it wasn’t the best, but he loved it!

  19. My daughter has been sleeping with a vintage Curious George all her life…or rather, 12 identical Georges, as we rotate for cleanliness and loss-proofing!

  20. As a child, my sister and I always loved reading the Curious George books. My sister was a much bigger fan , though. She had (and still has) many Curious George stuffed toys, including a giant larger-then-life stuffed George. Today my little nephews adore Curious George, so this is a gift the whole family will enjoy. Thank you for the chance to win.

  21. I remember having a pair of curious george rain boots that I used to wear everywhere. I dont remember what happened to them but my mom has tons of pictures of me in them while jumping in puddles. Fun.

  22. It all started on Dec 25, 1977 when I was born. Yes I did say Christmas Day 1977. My very first doll was the Curious George with the Red Hat & Shirt. This little monkey went everywhere with me throughout the years & sat next to me every time i went to library to get a Curious George book. I would sit with my mother & father for hours reading about him & the man with the yellow hat. By the time I grew out of him his eyes had been missing & his hat had no rim anymore. So as the years went by & I wondered what happened to my best bud I came home from college because of a career ending knee surgery, (Christmas 1999) I was sitting on my parents couch for my 21st birthday in a full leg brace hooked up to an ice machine & all of a sudden under the tree I saw my little bud sitting behind a present. My mother had kept him & put him away for a time when I would really need him. At the darkest time in my life my little curious monkey bud was there to help me. I understand that some people may look at this at laugh but let me tell you that sometimes even the Big Guys do need their buds to get through the hard times. I played baseball & hockey. I’m 6’1 225 so you can laugh at me but i would never trade that little guy for anything..

Best Regards & Thank You for letting me share my story of that little curious monkey…..

  23. I remember watching a children’s show that read books and I always loved it when a Curious George book was chosen. I liked George and his antics.

  24. I’ve loved Curious George since I was a kid (and I’m now the grandmother of 2 little ones who love him too!) I love his sense of adventure and is “joie de vivre”….joy of life!

  25. I remember that my mom used to read me a book every night at bedtime and I would always pick the Curious George book I had. She probably remember the words and didn’t even have to looj at the pages.

  26. What I love about George is that he reminds me of my little boy, always getting into trouble but too darn cute to stay mad at!

  27. Jennifer Jozwiak

i loved the story when he swallowed the puzzle piece and had to go to the hospital. it helped me when i would go to the dr.

  28. My favorite memory of Curious George were checking the books out of the school library. I loved to read them and now my son does.
