Do you sometimes feel like just telling someone you love them isn’t enough? Well, you are not alone. Sometimes, you want to go the extra mile to prove your love, and what better way to do that than with the ideal flower bouquet.

A bouquet is the perfect gift because it is easy on your pocket and communicates your emotions flawlessly at the same time. Also, whenever your loved one sees and smells it in their home, they’ll be reminded of you. However, getting the right bouquet and knowing the opportune time to give it can be tricky.

Here are some tips on how and when to give a memorable flower bouquet to that special person in your life.

Timing Is Everything

Having the idea to give your loved one a lovely bouquet is just the first step to giving the perfect gift. When and where you give the flowers matters as well. There are various kinds of flowers recommended for certain occasions, so here are some key events and occasions when you can give your flower gift.

Anniversaries

Anniversaries are an excellent time to express your love, and a lovely bouquet can work magic in your relationship. Fortunately, there are a wide range of anniversary flowers to choose from. As a rule of thumb, you should choose anniversary flowers based on the number of years you have been married. For example, carnations are for a first anniversary, while cosmos are suitable for a second anniversary. For a fifth anniversary, daisies are your best bet.

Birthdays

Birthdays only come once a year, and should be celebrated in grand style. Chances are, your loved ones will be expecting something on their important day, but you may have trouble picking just the right one.

Flowers are almost always an excellent gift choice. For instance, sending someone a sweetly scented bouquet of roses or orchids can communicate your passion and devotion to them.

For No Particular Reason at All

Many people love surprises. But on special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries, people often expect a thoughtful gesture. That’s why the best surprises happen on regular days when your loved one is not anticipating a gift.

For example, your loved one would love it if you sent them a bouquet out of the blue with a nice note expressing your feelings, telling how much you love and appreciate them. Better still, try ordering a beautiful bouquet ahead of time and have it delivered during your date instead of bringing the flowers along yourself.

Want To Deliver Your Bouquet With Elegance?

Delivering the right gift in an elegant style has its advantages. That is, you get the surprise effect you’re looking for, and also it further proves your love to the person. Here are some ways you can deliver your bouquet after you have purchased it.

Use a Delivery Service

You could go the old-fashioned way of using a delivery person to present your gift. The recipient might be expecting you to deliver a gift, so using a delivery person could come as a surprise. Be sure to add a note or a letter listing the numerous things you love about them and sign it with an “I love you.”

Deliver It Yourself

Most of the time, the best part about giving someone a gift is the reaction. So, if you can make the time, delivering flowers yourself adds a special touch to your gesture. That way, you’ll have the pleasure of seeing them smile as they receive your gift and read the note attached.

In addition, you can try serenading them as you present your bouquet; it will make the day even more memorable.

Make Room for Discovery

Another excellent way to present your gift is to leave it somewhere your loved one is likely to happen upon it. To make the process fun, you can also get three or four affordable bouquets, or divide a larger bouquet and add clues to them for a treasure hunt. This is a fun way to make the gift last a little longer, and encourage bonding between the two of you.

To Sum Up

Love is a beautiful thing, and sometimes you’ll find it difficult to express the depth of your love. Saying the words doesn’t always cut it, but saying it with flowers is sure to make a lasting impression. People always appreciate it when loved ones go the extra mile to do something special. Every flower has a meaning; so no matter the message you want to send, a bouquet is sure to do it.
