Enjoy the Outdoors with the GKS Electric Scooter for Kids
Today, on Redhead Mom, I am sharing about the GKS Electric Scooter for Kids.
It is a great product and my youngest son loved using it! All opinions expressed are 100% mine.
With everything that’s going on in the world right now, our kids are spending a lot of time inside the house. It’s great to know that there is a product that can get them excited about going outdoors again! Thanks to GOTRAX, we had the opportunity to check out the GKS Electric Scooter for kids by GOTRAX. Don’t worry if this wasn’t the style you were looking for, there are plenty of other motor scooters for sale.
Our youngest had actually seen a video on social media about it and was saying he wanted to check one out sometime. I hadn’t yet told him about the GOTRAX GKS Electric Scooter that arrived, but when I did, he was stoked and wanted to open it up right away! While we did have to wait until the next day to open it (it was nighttime at that point), it was well worth the wait!
My husband and my son both worked together to set the electric scooter up. The instructions included with the scooter made it VERY easy to put together! Our son was excited to help build something he was excited to use! Once it was put together and charged, my son was eager to take it for a ride…and he LOVED it!!!

Both feet must be placed on the scooter before the motor will engage, giving your child time to position themselves before the motor kicks in.

This electric scooter for kids only weighs 17.8 lbs, making it super easy to carry and maneuver.
5 Unique Color Combinations
The GKS features a fun two-tone color scheme, making it one of the most unique looking kid’s scooters available!
Designed for Kids
The GKS weighs only 17.8 lbs, making it one of the lightest electric scooters available. With a comfortable max speed of 7.5 mph and a range of 4 miles per charge, the GKS is the perfect beginners scooter!
Smart Start Technology
The GKS is built with a safety start technology to make it safer for beginner riders.
1 – First you must place your foot on the front button and kick to start.
2 – Once you have the scooter moving, then place your second foot on the back button to engage the electric motor to accelerate.
The motor completely shuts off once you remove your back foot from the button. That way the rider is always ready and in position before the motor starts. It’s perfect for going for an adventure on their way to some outdoor climbing toys.

When I was still a kid, I was jealous of kids who had scooters. This electric scooter is really a great gift idea for kids/teens! For sure, my nieces would love this. π
Wow, that looks like a really nice scooter! I have been looking for good things the kids can do outdoors. Definitely will have to check this out!
The scooter looks cool. My son has one, from a different company though. Looks its easy to assemble.
Nice scooter – I personally prefer the manual ones that you have to scoot yourself. Lovely to see your son joining your husband in putting it together.
