Definitely budget and activities for our kids rate high on things to consider when we vacation as a family. Beaches Resorts by Sandals sounds like the ideal trip for us.
I want to do northern lights! It sounds so fun and exciting! I want to see Aurora Borealis!
I’m a NO SNOW kinda person — but also not a beach person, ha! My husband and I are doing Panama this year. Last year we had a baby so didn’t go anywhere. The year before we did Africa. The year before we did SE Asia and the year before that we did England (DO NOT go in the winter if you don’t like cold, haha).
No, I haven’t. The closest I have got to something like that is “Oyster Bay beach” in Tanzania!
I have only been to beach resorts in Cuba, and it cannot beat the Beaches Resorts by Sandals. I live in the USA so it is really not difficult to travel to Caribbean.

i have never been to beach resorts before but it sounds like you had a lovely trip. i think i would prefer the christmas markets in europe and maybe even some snow to the beach.

I always thought it would be a lot of fun to travel to Hawaii for the holidays. These are some excellent destinations!
I am a beach person but I like watching my family ski! Next summer, we plan to take our graduating son to Kenya to meet his family on his grandfather’s side. He and my husband plan to hike Kilimanjaro!
I definitely prefer the beach over the snow any time of year so a Beaches resort would be ideal!
