Christmas Vacation Ideas for the Family

Today, on Redhead Mom, we’re talking about Christmas Vacation Ideas for the Family in partnership with Beaches Resorts.

Christmas vacation travel

My husband and I love to travel and explore beautiful places, all while relaxing and having fun using our Oceanfront hotel booking. Someday, we would love to plan a Christmas vacation with our 6 kids and take them somewhere beautiful and fun where they will make memories that will last a lifetime. Two important things to consider when planning your Christmas vacation is budget and activities for kids. You’ll need to figure out how much it costs for flights, travel to and from the airport to the bed and breakfast or resort you booked, and then the amount of money you’ll need to spend on food, drinks and souvenirs. The hotels in Laguna Beach are perfect for families. Let’s not forget about the money for any excursions or activities like river canoeing you might want to do while on your trip. Look into the various excursions in Majorca and choose the ones that your whole family will enjoy the most.

What are some of the Christmas Vacation Ideas You Might Consider?

Christmas Vacation Ideas

Frank and I have loved our trips to the Caribbean and I think we are both in agreement that taking our family on a Beach vacation to Jamaica and Turks & Caicos someday would be amazing! I’ve heard fabulous things about Beaches Resorts by Sandals and definitely have it on my RESORTS TO VISIT list. Visiting Beaches Resorts by Sandals is the perfect way to bring the family closer together. I love that not only do they have beautiful, pristine, white-sand beaches like this beach villa Maldives caressed by crystal-clear seas, but they are also all inclusive. I’m telling you this is a HUGE savings when it comes to traveling, especially with a family like ours. At Beaches Resorts by Sandals, you can spend your family vacation in luxurious rooms and suites and enjoy a wide array of fun and exciting activities for kids of every age. All Beaches Resorts include Pirates Island waterparks, Sesame street® characters, kids camps and an exciting nightclub for teens.

  1. I’m a NO SNOW kinda person — but also not a beach person, ha! My husband and I are doing Panama this year. Last year we had a baby so didn’t go anywhere. The year before we did Africa. The year before we did SE Asia and the year before that we did England (DO NOT go in the winter if you don’t like cold, haha).

  2. I have only been to beach resorts in Cuba, and it cannot beat the Beaches Resorts by Sandals. I live in the USA so it is really not difficult to travel to Caribbean.

I always thought it would be a lot of fun to travel to Hawaii for the holidays. These are some excellent destinations!

  4. I am a beach person but I like watching my family ski! Next summer, we plan to take our graduating son to Kenya to meet his family on his grandfather’s side. He and my husband plan to hike Kilimanjaro!

I definitely need to stick to a budget when vacationing. The small town vacation sounds fun. Last year my daughter and I went to Cancun and my sister and I went on a road trip through Kentucky
