5 Easy Steps to Brighter and Whiter Teeth + Giveaway
This is a sponsored post with Luster Premium White.
Ever since I was a young girl, I took good care of my teeth and wanted have the best smile possible. This really kicked into gear when I got my braces on. Not only did I want a healthy smile, but I also wanted straight teeth! Once my teeth were straight, it was a goal to show off that beautiful smile. It wasn’t until I got older (especially now that I drink red wine and coffee) that the thought of having whiter teeth came into my mind. I even went so far as to go to my dentist and get the teeth whitening trays. There were two problems with those. First, they were expensive. I mean they were molded to fit my teeth perfectly. Secondly, my teeth were super sensitive and sore when I put the trays in my mouth. Not a fun experience! This meant that I didn’t end up using them that much. Dangit!
Next step was to start using tooth whitening toothpaste. While this does help, it just doesn’t get my teeth as white as they can be (so I found out). How did I find out you ask? I tried the Luster Premium White Pro Light Dental Whitening System and loved it!!! I can’t believe how quickly it started whitening my teeth, not to mention how easy it was to use! It only took 5 Easy Steps to Get Brighter and Whiter Teeth! The picture shown above was only after 2 uses. Pretty awesome, right?
What does the Luster Premium White Pro Light Dental Whitening System come with? It includes five things in the kit. The system includes a Dual-Energy Whitening Light, Accelerinse, Stain Lifting Serum, Power White Pro Anticavity Fluoride Toothpaste (in mint flavor) and batteries for the whitening light. With this system, you can achieve 6 shades in only 30 minutes!
Step 1 – Brush. The first thing you need to do is brush your teeth with Luster Power White Pro toothpaste (not sold with the 2 Minute White Dental Whitening Treatment & Refill Kit, but is available with the kit I received). Brush for 2 minutes. For best results, brush with Luster Power White Pro Sonic Toothbrush, available exclusively in the Power White Pro Sonic Dental Whitening System.
Step 2 – Floss. If you have sensitive teeth and your gums bleed after flossing, you may want to rinse with water.
Step 3 – Rinse. Rinse with Accelerinse for 10-15 seconds (do not swallow).
Step 4 – Serum. Apply the Stain Lifting Serum to each tooth. Shake the serum for 3-5 seconds and apply onto the surface of each tooth you would like to whiten. Avoid contact with lips, tongue and gums to minimize the possibility of irritation. Re-dip or re-wet the brush as needed to ensure that teeth are well covered. Wait 20 seconds for gel to dry before allowing teeth to come in contact with your lips or tongue.
Step 5 – Whitening Light. Install the batteries in the light and then position the Dual-Energy Whitening Light about 1″ in front of your teeth after the Stain Lifting Serum has dried (20 seconds after application). You can put the light near your teeth or rest your lips on the light’s casing. If resting your lips on the casing, you may want to apply a thin coat of petroleum jelly to help prevent irritation (although I didn’t find that I needed to do this). To avoid saliva build-up (if necessary), place a cotton ball or small tissue inside your lower lip and/or under your tongue. Press the button to turn on the light. It will beep twice. Hold the light in place for 2 minutes. It will beep again and automatically turn off when the treatment time is complete.
