I’m a girlie girl and I love to be pampered! Whether it’s getting my hair done, relaxing during a massage or soaking in hot, bubbling water for a pedicure, I love to feel pampered. While I would love to be able to go to the spa and have body wraps or facials done, that’s just not something in our budget. That’s where doing facial masks at home to control your pores comes into play.

Masqueology is a brand I’ve come to know and love. Not only is it budget-friendly, the masks are relaxing and easy to use and my skin enjoys it all! Last week, I introduced you to the Masqueology Collagen Hydro Gel Gold Mask and this week, I’m introducing you to the Masqueology Charcoal Modeling Peel Off Mask.

Masqueology is reinventing skincare with a unique mask based treatment line that is convenient, portable and designed to meet your individual skincare concerns. The Charcoal Modeling Peel Off Mask is a single use mask that comes in a pouch that you add water to. You mix it into a thick paste with the included spatula in the pouch and then apply it to the skin.

Masqueology blends traditional Asian beauty practices with modern technology and ingredients to achieve beautiful healthy skin. Soft, smooth, radiant and renewed beautiful skin is as simple as a face mask.

4 – Put a thick, even layer on clean, dry skin using the supplied spatula.

5 – Starting from the jaw, quickly spread in upward strokes (the thicker and more uniform the application, the easier it will be to remove in one piece).

6 – Leave on for five to ten minutes, or up to 15 minutes for maximum hydration. I left it longer because I did mine thicker than I think you were supposed to.

7 – To remove the mask, lift off and wipe away any excess with a damp cotton ball.

This was my first time using the mask and so I was unsure on some things, but I think if I did it again, I would have a better idea of how much water to use and how thick to apply it. I was amazed by how smooth and soft my skin felt after removing the task. I felt completely pampered!

  2. I have heard how well charcoal works on skin. I have not tried the makk. It looks nice and I expected to see the rubber type for some reason! This looks easy to remove.

  3. My daughter and her boyfriend have been wanting to try one of these. I am not 100% sure this is exactly what they are talking about though since there are many kinds of charcoal masks out there these days. I really know someone who will surely love this! My sister is having a problem how to control her pores in her face. I’ll go to share this with her.

  17. Oh I would totally use this! The only bad part about masks is that somehow – like every single time – I get those stray longish hairs that whisp the sides of our face under the mask. I’ll go to peel off the mask and the hair goes with it. LOL

PS – Your skin looks totally radiant now!

This is so useful rather than going to derma clinics where you will pay them for a very big cost and youll comeback again for maintanance but with this you can easily do it at home.

Haven’t tried a charcoal mask before but it does look like it delivered results as promised. I will check this out and for the price of one application, it is definitely a must try!
