It’s hard to believe that it’s already 2017, but it’s really here! This Christmas was an awesome one! Our kids were so happy and thankful, as was I. If you know me or follow my social media channels, you know I love the color purple. This holiday season, my husband and I were shopping at the Pismo Beach Outlets for last minute gifts for our kids. I noticed the Coach store and wanted to go in to see what they had. You should know that I’ve never stepped foot into a Coach store before, but rather seen the store and items through a window as I’m passing by. In fact, I usually avoid stores like this all together. But today was different and I wanted to go in.
When I first walked in, it was a crazy experience. Not because of the awesome purses, but rather because of the CRAZY carpet! I mean seriously – vertigo anyone? The entire time I was there, I had to keep my head up so I didn’t look at the carpet! Maybe this is a sales tactic? Keep your customers’ heads up so they only focus on what’s at eye level or above?
For the past few months, I’ve been looking for a new purse. I wanted a purple purse, but never quite found the right color. I wanted the straps to be the right length – so I could carry it on my shoulders. Plus, I wanted it to be big enough to carry my everyday necessities…and more, of course! And guess what? I found the perfect purse…in the Coach store! I love it!!!
When I looked at the price tag, I cringed. It was a lot of money! Like $299! I’ve never spent that kind of money on a purse before and didn’t intend to now. I did have a handy coupon they gave me when I walked through the door for 50% off. It gets better though. It was 20% off the original price and then 50% off that! So I spent around $115 for this gorgeous Coach Crossgrain Leather City Zip Tote! My husband was actually going to surprise with me a purse, but hadn’t found one yet, so this was the perfect opportunity to give me an early Christmas gift. He even bought me a purple wallet to go along with it.
I happily traveled around this holiday season (and will in the future) with my purple Coach purse, purple UGGs, purple jacket (I received from a friend) and my purple nails. I’m so glad I waited to buy the purse that I absolutely love! Thanks babe for a great Christmas gift!

My sister’s favorite color is purple too and she purchases most of her stuff in that color. I’m not one who’s all into brand names but do have to admit that is a nice purse. And, you didn’t do too bad with it after getting it for the sale price.
