The holidays are almost here and that means it’s time to start putting together some of my favorite holiday makeup looks! I recently headed to CVS and found some great pieces of makeup from the Milani Cosmetics line. I love that I can purchase quality makeup products from Milani Cosmetics at CVS and achieve a beautiful look without breaking the bank!
I recently discovered Kohl Kajal, Eye Primer, Stay Put Brow, Milani Rose Powder Blush and Color Statement Lipstick and love each of them in their own ways! I found the Milani products on a display in the Beauty section. There was a Milani sign at the top of the display. In this post, I will be showing you how to create a Holiday Look with Milani Cosmetics.
1 – Start by moisturizing and priming your face. Once moisturized and primed, I like to add a liquid foundation and blend it with a makeup sponge. If you worry about having eyeshadow fallout (aka eyeshadow falling onto your face from applying it), you may want to save this step until after you do your eye makeup.
2 – Next, I apply the Stay Put Brow Color in Medium Brown. With the Milani Stay Put Brow, stand out by filling in, like a pro. Count on superior staying power, the perfect amount of brow color, precise application and intense definition in this unique brow pomade formula. I like that there are different colors to choose from to get the perfect color. It also comes with a dual-ended, professional brush included.
3 – Next, I primed my eyes with the Milani Eyeshadow Primer. This primer is pretty cool because it lasts for 8-plus hours. Not to mention that it turns every shadow – regardless of formula – into longwear! This lightweight, nonsticky color-intensifier and crease-minimizer goes on nude and once it dries down, it’s invisible. After applying the eyeshadow primer, I apply my favorite shades of eyeshadow (I personally like the pinks and purples).
4 – Once my eyeshadow has been applied, I use the Kohl Kajal Eyeliner to add to my overall eye look. I love this eyeliner! In fact, this has now become my go-to eyeliner for all of my makeup needs. With this new eyeliner, you get it all – and then some. While kohl pencils are usually way too smudgy to neatly line the inner rim, this glide-on, precision number gets right in there. Tightlining, waterlining, adding definition to the upper lid – there’s nothing this one-stroke wonder can’t do. And such versatility! With this sleek gold multi-tasker, you can achieve three distinct looks: 1.To keep it natural, line the upper lid and inner rim. 2. For added drama, thicken the line and extend the tip. 3. Feeling bold? Ring the entire eye. Available in a single stellar shade (Blackest Black), the waterproof formula is laced with hydrating, nourishing ingredients. I not only love the way this eyeliner glides onto my eyelid, but it’s also self-sharpening. How easy is that? For my look, I applied the eyeliner on both my upper lid and on my water line (above the lower lashes). I then follow up with a mascara and apply it to both my upper and lower lashes.
5 – After applying the eye makeup, I apply a powder, a bronzer and then blush. I love the Milani Rose Powder Blush! It’s not only a gorgeous color (in the American Beauty Rose color), but it goes on super smoothly and you don’t get a lot of residue falling off when you use your makeup brush. It’s a great buy!
6 – To finish off my holiday look, I used the Milani Color Statement Lipstick in the shade, Tuscan Toast.
