Our family loves Baskin-Robbins ice cream! Not only do we love the different ice cream flavors served with the pink spoon, but we love their ice cream cakes, too. With Mother’s Day right around the corner, we headed over to our local Baskin-Robbins and picked up an ice cream cake for Mother’s Day – yay!
I walked in and asked the cashier if they had any Mother’s Day cakes and they walked me over to the freezer. The freezer not only had pre-packed quarts of ice cream, but it also had a variety of ice cream cakes in it. They were so pretty! Since it was Mother’s Day, I got to choose. Trust me, it was a hard decision to make.
Baskin-Robbins is offering two delicious and elegant ice cream cakes to celebrate mom on Mother’s Day. These cakes can be customized to feature mom’s favorite ice cream and cake flavor combination.
– Pink Rosette Cake: Customize this trendy ice cream cake featuring rosettes with Mom’s favorite colors and flavor, and write a special message on the white dipping chocolate plaque.
– New Teal Rosette Cake: This cake is blossoming in sweetness with beautiful rows of rosettes piped perfectly for mom.
While I was choosing the ice cream cake I wanted for Mother’s Day, my family headed over to get some scoops of ice cream. They love that they can sample any ice cream flavor they want (with the little pink spoon of course)! They all decided on Chocolate varieties (Chocolate Fudge, Peanut Butter Chocolate and Chocolate).
This month’s Flavor of the Month is Mom’s Makin’ Cookies. Inspired by mom’s secret recipe, Mom’s Makin’ Cookies features brown-sugar flavored ice cream filled with chocolate chip cookie pieces, chocolate flavored chips and a delicious cookie dough batter-flavored ribbon. This frozen spin on the classic homemade treat can be enjoyed in a cup, cone, milkshake or as a sundae at participating Baskin-Robbins shops nationwide.
“We know our guests love to show their moms how much they’re appreciated on Mother’s Day, which is why we’re excited to bring back our popular Mom’s Makin’ Cookies ice cream flavor and offer eye-catching ice cream cakes that can be customized to celebrate mom in a fun and delicious way,” said Jeff Miller, Executive Chef and Vice President of Product Innovation at Dunkin’ Brands. “We’re also introducing guests to our Greek Sunset Greek Frozen Yogurt, which is a new better-for-you option available as we head into the summer season.”
We headed out of Baskin-Robbins as happy campers! Not only did we enjoy yummy ice cream cones, but we also left with the cutest Purse Ice Cream Cake I’ve ever seen! It’s a chocolate cake with chocolate chip ice cream – mmmm. While checking out, I even found out that they actually decorate the ice cream cakes right there in the store. Pretty cool, right?
