Top 5 Holiday Movies on Netflix
I love the holiday season and I love to watch movies. So you can imagine how much I love to watch holiday movies with my family! In fact, on Thanksgiving (or the day after – depending on how we’re feeling), we turn on a holiday movie to watch as a family. I have great memories of watching holiday movies with my family as a child and hope our kids have great memories too!
In our home, we do not have cable, but enjoy streaming television and movies through our Roku. Netflix is one of our favorite streaming sources. We can have a kids station and an adult station, as well as find a variety of television shows to enjoy in our home. With the holiday season upon us, I want to share our Top 5 Holiday Movies on Netflix:
1 – White Christmas – Two war buddies fall for two sisters and follow the girls to a resort owned by their former commanding officer, who is in danger of losing the place.
2 – Scrooged – A cold-hearted TV exec is about to discover the true meaning of Christmas — the hard way — in this wild, woolly spin on Dickens’s A Christmas Carol.
3 – Nightmare Before Christmas – Jack Skellington, the spindly king of Halloween Town, kidnaps Santa Claus and plans to deliver ghoulish gifts to children on Christmas morning.
4 – Bad Santa – Criminals Willie and Marcus disguise themselves as Santa Claus and an elf and find work at major department stores with plans of robbing them blind.
5 – Christmas with the Cranks – When Luther Krank and his wife opt to skip Christmas — no tree and no rooftop Frosty — can they handle the fallout from their family and neighbors?
