My Baby Graduated Kindergarten!

#Kindergarten #LoveMyBoys

Last week was the end of the school year!  That meant the end of 4th grade for Brian, the end of 2nd grade for Dallen and the end of Kindergarten for Sammy.  It was a bittersweet experience watching Sam graduate from Kindergarten.  I was proud of him for completing his first year in elementary school, but sad because this was my last baby to be going through Kindergarten.  It was a reality check!  My baby is growing up!

He did a great job at the ceremony and was full of smiles.  The kids sang a few songs, received some awards and then received their “diplomas.”  It was so cute!!!

Now, you might be wondering if I cried?  I came so close to breaking down into tears.  I had to take a lot of deep breaths and fan myself (not sure why this works) so I wouldn’t get teary-eyed.  I am one proud mama!!!

  1. Oh congratulations, they grow up so fast. It’s funny you can’t wait for them to grow up, but hate when they do get older.

Thanks Cynthia! He had fun during his Kindergarten “graduation” ceremony. Can’t believe how quickly he’s growing up. 🙂

Congratulations! That is such a sweet age. My guys are going in to 2nd and 5th grade this coming school year and I can’t believe how fast it went by!

  3. Congrats to the grad! Time sure goes by so fast. Before you know it, high school graduation sneaks up and then you’ll really be fanning yourself!

  4. Congrats!!! We are already talking about Davey graduating next year from Kindergarten. Davey graduates from Kindergarten and Caleb will graduate from 8th grade in the same next year.

  5. Fanning does work for tears, lol. My son’s K. teacher put together an end of the year video last year and I think I was the only parent crying (the teacher was crying too, lol). Congrats to your son on his milestone. He’s sure a cutie!

My kids are teens but I vividly remember when they each graduated from kindergarten. Such an exciting time!
