My Baby Graduated Kindergarten!
Last week was the end of the school year! That meant the end of 4th grade for Brian, the end of 2nd grade for Dallen and the end of Kindergarten for Sammy. It was a bittersweet experience watching Sam graduate from Kindergarten. I was proud of him for completing his first year in elementary school, but sad because this was my last baby to be going through Kindergarten. It was a reality check! My baby is growing up!
He did a great job at the ceremony and was full of smiles. The kids sang a few songs, received some awards and then received their “diplomas.” It was so cute!!!
Now, you might be wondering if I cried? I came so close to breaking down into tears. I had to take a lot of deep breaths and fan myself (not sure why this works) so I wouldn’t get teary-eyed. I am one proud mama!!!
Congratulations Sammy! 🙂 My baby graduated from Kindergarten too! 😉
Congratulations to you and your baby too! 🙂
Oh congratulations, they grow up so fast. It’s funny you can’t wait for them to grow up, but hate when they do get older.
Thanks Cynthia! He had fun during his Kindergarten “graduation” ceremony. Can’t believe how quickly he’s growing up. 🙂

Fanning does work for tears, lol. My son’s K. teacher put together an end of the year video last year and I think I was the only parent crying (the teacher was crying too, lol). Congrats to your son on his milestone. He’s sure a cutie!
