Since Frank proposed to me, I have loved shopping for and thinking about our upcoming wedding – only 11 months 2 weeks and 1 day away – woot woot!! I recently headed to David’s Bridal to pick out a Bridal Dress for one of the nights on our 7 day Carnival Honeymoon Cruise. It was so much fun! Plus, I found an amazing dress to wear!
Now, I’m not sure if I’m going to wear this dress or another white dress I bought, but I do know I am going to wear it on our Honeymoon Cruise next February! The picture above is before it’s altered. I personally like it better altered than not altered. The shoes in this picture are going to be the ones I’ll wear and let me tell you…they are gorgeous (another post to come)!!!
I love the dress – the back, the front, the length and even the pretty brooch on the side. It goes perfectly with the “hot” shoes I bought and with the veil I bought – all from David’s Bridal. Plus, since I bought a dress from David’s Bridal, I received a bridal goodie bag and my bridesmaids each got $20 off their dresses for the wedding. Pretty sweet deal right?!!

The salesperson who helped me at David’s Bridal was awesome (thank you Courtney)! She was happy, friendly and knew exactly what I was looking for. Plus, she was just as friendly and even remembered me when we came back to order some of the girls’ bridesmaids dresses! Now that is excellent customer service! We had an amazingly fun and memorable time. I can’t wait to show it off to my husband in less than a year!!!
What a beautiful dress. And since it is short it will be easy to walk around and then when you take the veil off you have a gorgeous summer dress.

Oh you are looking absolutely fabulous! Oh so exciting getting ready for your wedding. I bet with a longer engagement it’s not as stressful. Our engagement was only 2 months long. And yikes, lots of stress and worry to find everything for the wedding.
