This past weekend, Frank and I spontaneously decided to take the family to Disneyland Resort and Disney’s California Adventure for some end of the summer fun! It was Sammy’s first trip to Disneyland Resort and all of the boys’ first time to Disney’s California Adventure. They had so much fun and it was definitely a memorable time! We especially loved taking a picture with Mater – and Sammy even tickled the front of his truck and made him laugh!
Have you been to Disney’s California Adventure? What was your favorite ride or thing to do in the park?
We’re on the other side of the country. 🙂 We just did our first Disney World trip with our boys this year. It was awesome!

What a cute picture! We have not been to Disney’s California Adventure but I have been to Disneyland. Of course this was about 20 years ago and way before kids. We have been thinking about taking our kids there.
My boys would love a spontaneous trip. Sounds like a blast and the perfect end of summer treat.

My 4.5 year old LOVES Mater!!! He would be jealous if he knew what that was. Lol heck, I’m jealous! Can’t wait to take our kids to Disneyland!!!
We haven’t been to Disney’s California Adventure, but now that my son is 3 years old, I think that he is at a good age for us to go and all have fun!
