Curb Motion Sickness on Your Next Family Road Trip with Dramamine + Giveaway

Slide1

Dramamine 1

We love to drive and go on road trips, but that can be a challenge when we have little ones (or big ones) in the car who suffer from motion sickness.  Not long ago, I drove down to LEGOLAND in San Diego with my 3 boys.  We were about 20 minutes from Goleta and it happened.  Poor little Sammy threw up all over the back seat.  What a mess!  I pulled over and tried to clean it up the best I could, but the truth was that I really couldn’t get it clean or even tolerable until we made it to a grocery store.  If only I had known that Dramamine made a kid’s formula on that trip!

Dramamine 2

Now, when we travel, I always make sure that I have plastic Ziploc bag with us.  I also give the boys a dose of Dramamine for Kids.  Dramamine for Kids is the only medicated motion sickness relief product formulated just for children ages 2-12.  It’s even available in an 8 count travel case!

Dramamine Maui 3

Dramamine has a variety of products, making it easy to find the one that’s right for your family.  Dramamine Original Formula is the only leading brand for motion sickness formulated for children 2 years and over and adults.  It’s available in a 36 count box or 12 count travel vial.  Dramamine Less Drowsy relieves motion sickness symptoms with less drowsiness for up to 24 hours with one tablet!  It’s available in an 8 count travel vial.  Dramamine Chewable delivers all the relief of Dramamine Original Formula in the convenience of a chewable!  It’s available in an 8 count box.

Dramamine Giveaway

We were excited to receive the Dramamine Road Trip Kit and start our challenge.  Let me tell you, Dramamine works!  Sam didn’t throw up once on the plane or on the road trips we had this summer.  I even took Dramamine when I was feeling a little bit of motion sickness on our drive and it worked quickly!

Dramamine Maui 1

Now, we can travel comfortably with no bouts of motion sickness, thanks to Dramamine.  I remember taking it as a child before going out on boating trips and it worked wonders.  Well, it does the same for traveling in the car.  Thank you Dramamine for making family road trips fun and comfortable for all of us!

  1. I like tip #6. It’s definitely important to bring other things besides electronic devices. I bring crayons and books as well.

  2. the tip i think is most important is the Make a packing checklist. I always forget something stupid on a trip but necesssary line a charger, contact case, toothbrush, its so annoying!

  3. Be sure to charge electronic devices the night before. This is the most important seconded by making a packing checklist. My son is driving with his two boys from Tx. to Fl. Disney World and I am trying to help him get ready.

  4. Left this comment on that post: I love your Make a packing checklist tip but I’d like to add giving your children your expectations of them and their behavior and putting them to bed the night before in the comfy clothes (another tip) that they’re wearing for the ride or flight will save time, you can scoop and go.

  5. I like your last two tips about flying a kid friendly airline and packing lots of snacks

  6. Make a packing checklist is my favorite tip, we always end up leaving something behind. sweepmorey at gmail dot com

  9. I like the tip of bringing along snacks. My kids really love it when we pack a snack bag and have special treats for them. Thanks so much.

  10. I do have another tip to offer for those that suffer from motion sickness. Do not eat 30 minutes before a long trip. That way if the sufferer starts feeling nauseous, they are less likely to throw up.

  11. Be sure to charge electronic devices the night before. This is a big one for us. My girls always want to play on something when we are traveling. Thank you!

  12. I like the packing checklist tip! I have a rough list for any trip, and then tailor it to a specific upcoming trip… best way (for me) to make sure something critical isn’t left behind!

have a packing list and a big tub to stash things in as you think of them while preparing to go

  14. I think the first tip about explaining to them what will happen is extremely important. they want to know what’s going on not just be taken along for the ride

  15. My favorite tip is not to rely solely on electronics for the kids’ entertainment — not only do batteries lose their charge pretty quickly, but usually it’s the non-electronic games and books that keep the kiddos occupied for a lot longer, I’ve found!

  16. My favorite tip is: Be sure to charge electronic devices the night before. Very Important!

Thanks for the chance to win!

  17. Charging all your devices the night before– yes! Must do! Don’t want that favorite cartoon to run out of battery just before the surprise ending (for the 1,100th time)!!!

  18. I like the packing checklist tip because when your trying to get everything and everybody ready, it’s very easy to forget things.

  19. My favorite tip is to explain to the kids what their day of travel will be like and what to expect.
I think that everyone is on better behavior when they know what their day will entail.

  21. Pack lots of snacks. – Great tip 🙂 Seems like appetites always go up on trips so pack more than they would normally eat – at least my kids are that way – LOL – Also – keep band-aids handy 🙂 LOL

  22. I think you should also talk about the trip in a way that gets kids excited and filled with wonder. I’ve seen too many kids glued to their phones or books, and not enjoying the world around them.

  23. I like the “Don’t rely solely on electronics” tip. It’s true that the omg (kids lol) get bored super easily. I suspect they could get motion sickness/car sickness from it too.

  24. I commented on the correct page as well :3

Followed on twitter under @Bobbatron808, and also on fb Bobby Tarumi.

As for Dramamine I followed on fb (liked)

  25. I like the Explain to the kids what their day of travel will be like and what to expect tip because it will build excitement and remove anxiety.

  26. I like your tip that suggests to explain to the kids what to expect on their day of travel the best. I think things go smoother when kids have a realistic idea of what’s going to happen; it helps reduce anxiety during new experiences (like airport security) and let’s them understand that the destination may take some time to arrive at 🙂

I think the “Be sure to charge electronic devices the night before” tip is important.

  28. Pack lots of snacks would be my favorite tip! I can’t tell you how bad it is to be on the road with kids all having the muchies & wanting to stop at MC D’s or other places. They even try to trick you by saying they need to go to the bathroom when the only places near by are fast food places.
