Andie MacDowell is one of my favorite actresses and I was excited to find out that she’ll be starring in Hallmark Channel’s new original series, Cedar Cove.  Cedar Cove airs on Saturday nights at 8p/7c on t he Hallmark Channel.  Cedar Cove is a new primetime series based on the bestselling books by Debbie Macomber and stars Andie MacDowell and Dylan Neal.

In “Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove,” Andie MacDowell plays Judge Olivia Lockhart, whose Cedar Cove Municipal Court is the professional milieu and social microcosm of issues the judge will face in her own day-to-day life with family and friends. Jack Griffith (Dylan Neal), the editor of the CedarCove Chronicle, is a new friend and potential love interest for Judge Lockhart.

Starring Andie MacDowell, Dylan Neal, Teryl Rothery, Bruce Boxleitner, Barbara Niven, Brennan Elliot, Paula Shaw, Sarah Smyth.

    I have not seen Cedar Cove before. The trailer makes it look like a chick flick that’s geared towards middle aged women. My kind of movie!

    I haven’t read any of Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove series, but I have enjoyed other books by her. This series on TV looks promising, and the scenery is beautiful.

    Love the trailer & I saw the first couple of episodes on Hallmark Channel. It was a little slow going at the very beginning but then I really got into the story line.

    I’ve never heard of Cedar Grove but it looks interesting..I love the Good Wife and this looks like it could be similar to that..and I love Andie McDowell and I’m thrilled to see her in something new.

    I’ve read the books but unfortunately, our cable provider does not carry the Hallmark channel. So I won’t be watching the shows.

    I haven’t seen Cedar Cove yet, but I love Andie McDowell and the trailer looks great – the pacing and lack of violent or overly dramatic content makes it a nice change of pace from most other network shows (which, don’t get me wrong, I enjoy, but it’s nice to have more variety on TV!).
