Jackman plays ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (Crowe) after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s (Hathaway) young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.

With international superstars and beloved songs—including “I Dreamed a Dream,” “Bring Him Home,” “One Day More” and “On My Own”—Les Misérables, the show of shows, is now reborn as the cinematic musical experience of a lifetime.

  1. I know that Russell Crow is in a band, but I’ve never heard him sing, so I think it will be very interesting to see him singing in this movie.

  2. Anne Hathaway is the actresss I am most looking forward to seeing her performance although I can’t wait to see all the actors in the movie.

  3. I’ve seen Les Miserables already. Such a good movie! My favorite performance was actually by Aaron Tveit (he played Enjolras). I definitely want to see it again!!

  4. I’m looking forward to seeing Hugh Jackman in a full-fledged musical. He has been amazing in the numbers he performed on the Tony Awards broadcast. I’ve heard that Colm Wilkinson, who played Jean Valjean in the original stage version of Les Miz, is playing the Bishop in the film, which is a nice touch. This is one of my favorite musicals, and I’m only waiting for the crowds to die down a little bit to go see it.

  6. I saw the film last night and was surprised by all the actors and their singing abilities. My favorite was Daniel Huttlestone who plays the part of Gavoroche. At only 12 years old he all but stole the show. GREAT film!!
