When you think of Well-being, do you think only of health and wellness?  What do you think of when you see those words or say those words out loud?  Do you feel happy, sad, in control, out of control, positive, negative?  When I think of well-being, I have a happy and positive feeling. So what exactly does well-being cover?  Well being is so much more than just being well.  While our physical and mental health are a big part of our well-being, they are part of a much bigger picture.

Think about the sense of contentment you get from feeling close and connected to family, friends, and your community.  How about the way you feel when you’re financially confident?  When your career’s in good shape and you’re on top of your savings – that’s well-being.  Or how about the lift you get from spending time on play, traveling the world, or exploring new or old interests.

Your well-being is as individual and complex as you are as a person.  Every person sees well-being in a different way.  That’s where My Well-Being Powered by Humana comes into play.  This is the place that knows that well-being is about every aspect of your life – your health and your loved ones, your finances and your leisure time,

I think that the financial side of life has always been a little bit of a torment for me.. especially through the holiday season. However, I do learn to appreciate everything else. For the most part, I keep a positive outlook.. life is too short to be upset all the time, right?
