Spreading Smucker’s Traditions Contest + Giveaway

I love working with the J.M. Smucker Company and LOVE eating the Smucker’s products!  Back in November I had the opportunity to visit the Smucker Family again and it was awesome!  It feels just like a family.  If you are the cook in your family, you probably are familiar with family traditions beginning in the kitchen.  The makers of Smucker’s jams, jellies, preserves, fruit spreads and fruit butters know a thing or two about bringing families together through delicious meals.

The finalists int the fourth annual Spreading Smucker’s Traditions Recipe and Essay Contest were announced on February 8th, 2012.  Once again, the contest features original recipes that are part of family traditions, that make celebrations special and that are made with a Smucker’s product.  One lucky winner’s family dish will help bring loved ones together for the ultimate family reunion.

In our family, we often come together and enjoy the different Smucker’s products, especially the jams, preserves, and jellies.  Whether it’s at breakfast, lunch, or dinner, Smucker’s has and will continue to be an enjoyed brand in our family’s pantry and home.

To celebrate the finalist recipes in this year’s Spreading Smucker’s Traditions Recipe and Essay Contest, the J.M. Smucker Company is offering an awesome giveaway on The Mommy-Files!!!

  1. One of our family traditions is getting together at my Moms for Christmas. It’s always at my Moms and no one needs to ask who’s house we are going to. Lots of fun and memory making.

One of my favorites is just getting family together, having a wonderful dinner and watching television together along with great conversations. Nothing beats having the family all united!

  3. Here’s our big family tradition…we go to CiCi’s pizza at least once a week together. That way we can go over what’s been going on in our lives. Since my son and DIL both work it’s hard to have time to get together too often to sit down at one time to discuss things and catch up.

  4. One of our new family favorite traditions is spending Christmas day together, just the four of us. We start with opening gifts, a Christmas breakfast and then playing with our gifts. No pressure to go anywhere or have anyone over, it’s great! Thanks so much for hosting this wonderful giveaway!
