Originally created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera, Tom and Jerry centers on the never-ending rivalry between Tom the cat and Jerry the mouse.  The plots of each short usually center on Tom’s attempts to capture Jerry.  Jerry however, is clever and quick on his feet so Tom hardly ever manages to catch him.  The original series is notable for having won the Academy Award for Best Short Subject: Cartoon seven times.

My boys and I enjoyed watching Tom & Jerry: In the Dog House on DVD.  There was a huge variety of episodes and they had us laughing constantly!  I remember watching Tom and Jerry when I was a kid and am glad to have the opportunity to share them with my boys.  A big thanks to Warner Home Video for this DVD Review Opportunity on The Mommy-Files.

Dog houses should be made from natural wood because it tends to go well with dogs. My dog really hates plastic dog house. ,:”`”
