Cars 2 is one of my boys’ favorite movies and with the holidays came traveling.  Thanks to the person who invented the portable DVD player because it makes road trips so much easier!  For our holiday road trip, we had the opportunity to try out some fun products in our car.  We received a gift card to purchase some yummy road snacks, a Cars 2 Super Stationary Set, Cars 2 Figurines, Cars 2 Soundtrack, and Color Copies of fun Activity Pages!  It was everything we needed to make a road trip fun for the boys.

My boys love to color, so the Stationary Set and Coloring Pages were their favorites to draw on.  We were sent a car, but since I have 3 boys, I decided to make a trip with them to the toy store and buy them each another car.  They each had two cars to play with while in the car.  The three of them love their Finn McMissile cars!

They were thrilled with the Stationary Set, which had a bunch of different items in it.  It was perfect for my three little guys.  The stationary set included markers, crayons, coloring pads, stickers and more!  The boys each had a small notebook for them to put their stickers in – kind of like a homemade sticker book.  They had a blast with the stationary set and it kept them busy!

The boys also love to listen to the Cars 2 Soundtrack.  When it starts, one (if not all) of them request the Finn McMissile song, which surprised me because it’s instrumental.  They love that song!

Cars 2 is available on DVD and Blu-ray and can be purchased in stores or online.  A big thanks to Disney for this awesome road trip kit !

I received these items from the Disney team for our holiday road trip.  All opinions expressed in this post are 100% mine.

One of my nephews is absolutely wild over Cars! My brother once said he would like to kiss the man that invented DVD players in vehicles- those trips can get mighty long with kids- how did our parents handle it? (of course this could explain why we didnt go on very many vacations!)

I’m just a big kid at heart! I can’t help it but Tow Mater is my favorite character on cars. I haven’t been able to see part 2 yet but I’m sure it’s as good as the first. I wish they had travel kits like this when I was a child, maybe we wouldn’t have drove moma and daddy nuts on road trips lol

Finally just saw Cars 3. I actually loved Cars 2 because I love James Bond movies (and it was very James Bondish) and I was hooked when the Northwestern was featured at the very beginning (Deadliest Catch is one of my favorite shows). Cars 3 definitely goes back to the roots of the original Cars. It was very emotional and I told my daughter I compared it a lot to Toy Story 3. A lot of those same types of emotions of an era coming to an end. We both really enjoyed it and my daughter said it was her favorite.
