NESTLÉ Family Happy New School Year Resolution + Giveaway

Happy New School Year!!!  This week, I talked about our New School Year Resolution and I am so excited to see how it improves our family’s lives!  In the spirit of the New School Year, the NESTLÉ Family has come up with good resolution.  The resolution is to “Plan ahead for quick and easy snacks on the go.”  This resolution really hits home with me.  I can’t tell you how many times we’ve been running errands, I my boys start getting cranky because they are hungry.  For a long time, I’d ALWAYS have snacks with me, but lately, I’ve been slacking.  So, how can I plan ahead for quick and easy snacks on the go?

First, I can actually have the snacks on hand in my home!  That’s a big one.  If you have snacks on hand, you’re less likely to purchase fast food and unhealthy ready-to-good food items.

Second, ALWAYS have snacks in your purse, diaper bag, or car.  This will help you to be prepared before the meltdown happens.  Not to mention, snacks help distract!

Third, prepare snacks or purchase pre-packaged snacks.  If it’s not that hard to pour some snacks into a baggy, why do so many of us not do it?  If you are low on time or desire, you may consider buying pre-packaged snacks.  Then, all you have to do is remember to grab them, actually grab them, and go!  How smart is that!!??

    My School Year resolution is to take time every day to TEACH my son something! Actually take the time to slow down and work on a skill (letters, numbers etc.) Home schooling a 2.5 year old 🙂

    We sure do love Nestle’s around here. I grew up loving to each “Crunch” bars, They were my favourite. We haven’t had Juicy Juice in our home, so winning would be a great opportunity to try the product.
