  7. I always loved Liesel. I thought she had the most beautiful eyes! My favorite song is ‘I am sixteen going on seventeen’.

  8. My favorite character is definitely Maria. She IS what make the Sound of Music so mesmerizing. She’s spunky, full of life, full of conviction which she imparts to her charges and leads them all through an experience thats mesmerizing – I have watched it numerous times and never tire of it. Thanks for a great giveaway.

  9. I LOVE this movie!
I want this so bad… but I know we can not afford it!
I FINALLY got my husband to watch it with me on tv a few weeks ago!
    GREAT MOVIE!!!
Who is my favorite character? Ummmmm… all the kids!!!
The song I love the most is favorite things…
    but I catch myself singing
    “I am 16 going on 17”
    THANKS FOR THE GIVEAWAY!

  10. My favorite song from The Sound of Music is My Favorite Things. It is the song that I usually use when I am auditioning for roles in local little theatre productions.

  11. My favorite character is the Captain. I love how he’s all stern and cynical in the beginning with a wall around his heart, but he can’t help being charmed by Maria. And the scene where they dance together . . . So sweet!

  12. My favorite song would probably be My Favourite Things. In grade school I played one of the Von Trapp family children in a play. Wonderful film. Thank you for the chance to win. Happy holidays.

  13. My favorite song from “The Sound of Music” has always been “Edelweiss” – I love its beautiful simplicity, and I think it’s the most touching song in the score. Thanks for the chance to enter!

  14. My favorite character is the Captain Von Trapp and how he learns to open up to his children. And one of my favorite songs is Edelweiss.

  15. While it may be an unorthodox choice, if you consider the locations in Austria and the Czech Republic as a character or as giving the film character, I will vote for the the locations. If locations don’t count, then I’ll join the My Favorite Things crowd
