Every year, we have a family tradition where we pick our pumpkins at a Pumpkin Patch.  This year, we visited 2 different farms and purchased an assortment of pumpkins.  The boys had a blast!

The first farm we went to was Windmill Farm in Arroyo Grande/Nipomo, California.  They had a few cute picture opps, but overall, their pumpkins were a little on the pricey side.  However, it was a fun MOMS Club activity and gave us a great picture opportunity (with the 2 younger boys).

A week later, my sister came up from Southern California to visit and we went to the Pumpkin Patch sponsored by our local high school – Nipomo High School.  The pumpkin patch is located at Holloway’s Farm and all proceeds are donated to Nipomo High School.  What an awesome way to contribute to our community!  Plus, the pumpkins were affordable, there were cute picture opportunities, and a tractor ride that the boys loved…which also takes you out to a rope swing (we didn’t do that this time around).    My sister had a lot of fun with us and the boys loved hanging out with their auntie!  Plus, that was the day my sister pampered me and straightened my hair – only lasted 2 days until I washed my hair and it was back to the curls again! 🙂  One other benefit was that each family received a FREE pumpkin!

The boys were so excited to have their first picture taken in front of the huge inflatable pumpkin and table of fresh pumpkins!

Amber pulled the 2 younger boys around in the wagon for a little while.  They loved it!

There was a really good assortment of pumpkins.  The prices were reasonable and I love that the money was going to our local high school.

Our pumpkins!  Some of those pumpkins were HEAVY!  It was lots of fun and we took some great pictures to put in our family scrapbook!

No compensation was received this post.  I’m happy to share fun family activities we do and local businesses that we love!  All opinions expressed in this post are 100% mine.
