I love Wilton and I love Halloween!  As a Wilton Mom Ambassador, I have the opportunity to review products and share my experiences, creations, and thoughts about them.  I recently had the opportunity to review the Wilton Pre-Baked Spooky Pops Cookie Kit at home!  I LOVED it!

The Pre-Baked Spooky Pops Cookie Kit was both fun and super easy to use!  It’s perfect for the mom (or dad) who is looking to make creative Halloween gifts for family, friends, teachers, coworkers, or just for fun!  My friend and I turned on a movie for the kiddos and went to town decorating the Spooky Cookie Pops.  She couldn’t believe how easy and fun it was.  In fact, we are hoping there will be a product similar to the Spooky Pops Cookie Kit for the Christmas Season.

With the Pre-Baked Spooky Pops Cookie Kit, you can build and decorate 10 spooky cookie pops to share and enjoy!  The kit includes the following items:

– 20 Pre-baked spooky cookies (approximately 2 in. high x 1 3/4 in. wide)
– Creamy white icing mix (instructions included)
– Creamy green icing mix (instructions included)
– Creamy black icing mix (instructions included)
– 24 Eyeball Icing Decorations
– 10 Lollipop Sticks
– 10 Treat Bags
– 10 Self-Sealing Gift Stickers
– 3 Decorating Bags
– 3 Decorating Tips

You can purchase the Pre-Baked Spooky Pops Cookie Kit online or in stores, retailing for $12.99 per kit.

The first thing we did was make the icing.  The colored powdered icing mixes are provided.  All you do is add 2 tablespoons of butter (creamed) and 1 tablespoon of milk.  Use a mixer to blend the icing together and wah-lah …. you have icing for for the Spooky Pops!  To prevent the icing from drying out, place a damp (not dripping wet) paper towel over the container holding the icing.  Once your icing is ready, fill the decorating bags and you’re all set to decorate.  **Note:  If storing icing, be sure to keep it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. **

Once the icing was made and the decorating bags were filled, it was time to create our Spooky Pops.  It was so much fun!  We created Pumpkins, Frankensteins, and Mummies!  We left them out overnight to dry out and then put them in bags with cute tags…ready to give to family and friends (or just let our kids and us eat – lol)!

Thanks to Wilton for an amazing product!  If you’re looking for something similar for the Christmas season, I would recommend the Wilton Gingerpops Cookie Kit!  It’s a similar idea, but with Gingerbread cookies.

I received samples from Wilton Industries to facilitate this review.  All opinions expressed in this post are 100% mine.
