See’s Candies Gift Certificate Giveaway (5 Winners)

I LOVE See’s Candies!  Whether I’m reviewing their products or buying them on my own, I love their candies!  I recently had the opportunity to try out their newest flavor – Dark Rum Raisin.  I was a little hesitant at first…since it had raisins in it, but once I tried it, I found I really liked it!  The Dark Rum Raisin is the new See’s Candies piece for the month of September and is only available for a limited time.  Previous flavors included Coffee Walnut Caramel and Black Forest Truffle, both of which were super yummy and flavors I hope See’s Candies brings back as regular items!

The Dark Rum Raisin was a yummy treat!  See’s chewy nougat is flavored with rum, raisins, cherries and walnuts, and is then drenched in dark chocolate.  The new flavor is sold only in See’s shops (not online or by phone) starting September 10, for $5.25 per 4-ounce box.  Quantities are limited and may only be in stores for a couple of weeks.

MY THOUGHTS

I LOVE See’s Candies and was thrilled to have the opportunity to try some of See’s Candies newest flavors.  The Dark Rum Raisin was way better than I initially thought it would be.  See’s Candies continues in the tradition of producing some of the best chocolate candies around!  Thanks goes to See’s Candies for this awesome review and giveaway!

    I have many memories of eating chocolates from See’s. The See’s store was located next door to the movie theater and was my first stop before going to the matinee.
    See;s Chocolate Creams are a long time favorite with me.

    Did someone say Chocolate? Oh my goodness! such a weakness… I can’t walk past a See’s without going inside just for the day’s sample piece. Yum-o! I haven’t tried the Coffee Walnut Caramel. You definitely had my attention with the Coffee and Caramel combo… I guess I better add See’s to my to-do list today. 🙂

    I actually purchase the small box of Dark Rum Raisin chocolates yesterday and they are delicious. Usually I buy the Chocolate Fudge With Walnuts and it’s still my favorite.

    Oh my gosh! I am a See’s fanatic! It’s hard to pick a favorite but if I have to I would pick the Dark Chocolate Buttercreams. Don’t forget that when you go to See’s you can have your own picks custom boxed!

    Hi and Happy Sunday! 🙂 Oh boy — I only ever tried See’s once, like last year or something, and just loved it. So definitely would like to try some more. 😉 Not sure which I would ultimately go with, but if it was right now, might my the chocolate assortment of soft centers. Yummy looking!! 🙂

    I have my See’s favorites — marzipan, dark rum raisin, California brittle and butterscotch squares. Almond clusters are great, too.

    I would love to have a box of their peanut brittle, or a 1 lb. box of milk chocolate bordeaux candy all to myself! A very long time ago, a friend shared a jar of See’s bordeaux ice cream sauce with me…heaven! Sadly, they don’t seem to make that anymore…

    The Gold Fancy box has everything (rich dark chocolates, creamy milk chocolates, brittles, caramels, and favorite nut candies) and would definitely satisfy my whole family. (We love See’s Candies too!)

    I grew up with See’s Candies. One of the things I miss most about So. Cal. Every Holiday, my grandmother would gift us with wonderful See’s Candy. I remember when they had the HUGE stuffed chocolate eggs, (they are now much smaller – and still equally wonderful). She even used to keep See’s in her freezer, never wanting to be without should company arrive.
    I haven’t had any See’s in quite a while, a friend Jennifer, of Eighty MPH Mom, sent me a lil box about a year ago… memories… (Okay now I have THAT song in my head)…

    The one I haven’t tried and would LOVE to try is the Dark BordeauxTM
