  1. This time of year when people are planting their vegetable and flower gardens I think of my dad because this was his love. He is now deceased but I still drive by our old house and reflect on the love he had for making his property look beautiful with flowers and all the delicious veggies we had in the summer.
I inherited the ability to also work in the garden and grow beautiful flowers which the neighbors tell me I have the most beautiful flower garden in the neighborhood. I tell them dad taught me everything I know.

  2. One thing I think I inherited from my Dad is my humor.

i like to make others laugh and so does he.
People that are funny remind me of my Dad. My dad has the ability to make people laugh and be at ease. I’d like to think I do the same. 🙂

  3. Whenever I give people advice on life- I hear myself saying all the things my Dad told me! He is a person who tells it like it is and who has always been there for me.

  4. I inherited my dad’s love of learning–he’s 82, and he’s still finding something new to learn every day. I’m like that, too.

  5. I do not have a dad, so that one is out with the trait. However, I do follow you on Facebook now with the like button.

  6. well, from my grandfather (as i had no father) i inherited being left handed!! he and i were the only lefties!!

  7. I’m always reminded of my dad when I see ladybugs. He accidentally ate one, thinking it was a piece of chocolate cake on his chest but it was simple a poor ladybug upside down. He rate to the sink to spit it out. We still chuckle about that!

  8. Since his name is the same as a famous Muppet, I’m reminded of my dad every time I watch the Muppets.

  9. I inherited dads love of the outdoors and gardening. He is never happier than when he is putzing around with his flower or vegetable gardens and neither an I

  10. I credit my Dad for giving me my drive. He once mentioned when he thought I wasn’t listening that I wouldn’t amount to much. Made me made enough to get my masters and just thinking about it now is giving incentive for thinking about a Ph.D.!

  11. Trait I inherited from my dad… When we stand still, we cross our arms and our feet turn outwards! That and I got his nose!

  13. My Dad was a hard worker and he always said that if you are going to do something-do it right. Luckily, I retained those good work values into my adult life.

  14. I inherited my Dad’s goofy sense of humor! When we’d ask, “When will we get there?”, he would say, “As the monkey said when the train ran over his tail, It won’t be long now.” Too silly, but it kept us amused!! 🙂

  15. I inherited my dads work ethics and frugality.
He always worked hard for what we had and very rarely spent unwisely.
    And I am the same.
There is nothing wrong with getting your hands dirty or taking a lower job to support your family.
And we always save for the unexpected.

Thank you so much for the giveaway.
