PS22 5th Grade Chorus and Matisyahu

A few weeks ago, the PS22 5th grade chorus from Staten Island recorded a cover of Matisyahu’s “One Day.”  These kids have recorded dozens of covers and have over 15 million views on YouTube.  Last week, Matisyahu went to the school and performed a few songs with the kids and hung out with them for the afternoon.  These kids are amazingly talented and I really enjoyed their song.  Check out the video below:

    Wow! What an amazing bunch of kids! I watched some of their other videos too. Is this some type of music magnet school? It seems like such a great program – I mean every child was so into the singing!
