Cooking With The Mommy-Files: Lemon Pepper Salmon

Last night, I made yummy Coho Salmon! We have neighbors that own a fishing company and we bought some salmon from them and their last trip. It was a pound of Coho Salmon and was really good!

I can’t believe how simple and yummy it was!  Even my boys loved it.  I kind of wish we had made more, because I love to eat salmon the day after (right from the fridge).  It was eaten up before I remembered to take a picture of it, so I don’t have a picture to go along with it.  Perhaps I’ll add one when we make it again in the future! I have found a supplier of smoked salmon so I’ll definitely prepare this dish again.

I sprinkled Lemon-Pepper Seasoning on the Salmon and let it marinate for about 20 minutes.

I put it in a 350 degree oven and baked for about 20 minutes.

It was perfect! Still moist and so flavorful!

Like I said, this is a very easy recipe that it really tasty! Please let me know if you try it out on your own and your thoughts!

  1. My husband loves salmon but I hate cooking it because of the smell it leaves behind. Quite possibly determined by the ‘freshness’ of the fish. If your neighbors own a fishing company, sounds like you had some wonderfully fresh fish. Wish I could get that here.

  2. I absolutely, positively ADORE salmon-Oh, and this recipe is so mouth watering, I can’t wait to try it out(as well as eat the finished product LOL).

  3. Sounds SO good… I love salmon, but hubby won’t eat any seafood. I order it when we go out and usually take some home and I like to eat it cold also. I also share it with Nano, he likes seafood, too.

  4. I’ve never thought of seasoning and cooking salmon on my own. Sam’s Club has a great frozen seasoned salmon. Maybe I’ll try out the lemon pepper on my own!
