  1. Happy Monday Mingle!

I have been thinking of getting rid of my cable since every show that we watch is available online for free anyway — gotta love hulu!!

Hope you have a great week!

  2. i love growing my stuff in my garden. It is great when you can be self sufficient.
Me too! Herbal tea. Love it.
Yup, I am American too. 😀
i didn’t watch the olympics either.
Thanks for mingling. I LOVe ice skating too!
    Have a great week!
Did you find out whether you won at sayitfacetoface yet?
i think you probably did. You had the MOST responses thus far in FEB! WAY to GO!
I might be wrong but maybe not.
You rock it girl either way!

  3. Happy Monday!

American here too! Well, german, irish, native american. Just call me a mutt! Hahahaha.

I absolutely love daisies! Makes me anxious to see all the flowers in bloom. 🙂

Hope you have a great week!

  4. It’s my third year of gardening too . . . I’m getting better and better each year though. Like you, we grow a lot of veggies.

    Have a wonderful week 🙂

  5. Hi Shannon – congrats on winning at sayitfacetoface!
I never tried sweet peas either, but had a neighbor that had beautiful ones.
Did grow some snap peas in the garden this past summer. 🙂 It’s such a great feeling to go out, pick food, and cook it!

  6. I cannot grow anything at all in a garden… Two years ago, I planted 28 bulbs and only one flower came up. I know it has something to do with the clay and sandy soil here in Florida, but I wish there was something I could grow. 🙂
I figured you had some Irish in you, and some other European, just like me… it’s the fair skin, freckles and red hair (well, mine’s not so red anymore – it’s mostly gray).
We didn’t watch the Olympics either, I relied on Twitter to keep me updated. I do like seeing some of the figure skating online – but only the best parts.
