“Amelia” DVD Giveaway

I recently had the opportunity to Review “Amelia” on DVD. It was a great reenactment of the “Queen of the Air’s” story. She was amazing and I am still inspired by women who fly planes! It is a DVD that I am happy to add to my collection. Richard Gere and Hilary Swank did amazing jobs in their roles in the movie!

MY THOUGHTS:

I really enjoyed watching “Amelia” on DVD.  It was a great movie and I feel like I learned more about Amelia than I knew before.  I think that Hilary Swank and Richard Gere did amazing jobs in their roles in the movie.  I’m glad I had a chance to review it and own it.

    I’d like to win this because I love watching movies – and with a newborn we just don’t get to the theater anymore, I haven’t seen this movie either! Sounds like a good at home date night while baby sleeps!

    I would love to win this DVD I have always admired Amelia, I have her biography on my bookshelf. One of my hobbies is reading about amazing women who have changed the course of history . She had a rough childhood, but persevered to conquer her dream.

    i love richard gere, i like hillary swank, so i know the movie will be fantastic. hillary seems to pick movies that seem harder/deep? maybe, cant think of the right word but she doesnt just pick every movie offered to her, she really waits for the good ones, and richard i just feel in love with when he rescued julia roberts from being a um escort in pretty woman.

    I love movies about strong women who chose paths that clashed with the “approved” activities of their day. This movie also has an excellent cast and is bound to be something I would enjoy.

    Hilary Swank is one of my favorite actresses today. She’s talented, intelligent, and down to earth which is a rare thing to have all three in Hollywood. I really like that she plays strong women and Amelia is another example of that. I haven’t seen the movie yet but I’d really like to make Amelia part of my DVD collection.

    For years I have LOVED Richard Gere (as an actor of course!). He is just so enjoyable to watch on the BIG screen. My favorite movie is Runaway Bride. I think he was AMAZING in this movie. Hillary Swank has become a new yet consistent actor that I LOVE, ever since I watched her in P.S. I Love You. I am not generally a crier for movies, but she was completely believable in her role and I LOVED it! It was a tear jerker for SURE!

    I would love to win this because I was secretly a huge fan of Amelia as a preteen. I would read books, print out pictures for my wall, and even did a class report on her by choice. Lol…oh the memories! Yes, I was a dorky child! Hope I win…thanks for the chance! 🙂
