“Curious George 2” CD Review and Giveaway

I can’t wait to see “Curious George 2” on DVD when it comes out.  For now, I’ll settle for the “Curious George 2: Follow That Monkey“ Soundtrack, which will be released online and in stores by 429 Records on March 2nd, 2010.  It’s a fun CD that both my kids and I like listening to!  My 2 favorite songs were “Life Less Ordinary,” “California Sun,” and “Let Your Troubles.”  I found myself bopping and swaying to them while we were driving and listening to the cd.  The CD is fun!  Heck, I even listen to it while blogging!  I can’t wait to see what the movie will be like!

The “Curious George 2” Soundtrack will be released by the Savoy Label Group on March 2nd, 2010.  The Soundtrack features Brian Wilson, Jackie Greene, and Carbon Leaf.

The world’s most beloved and inquisitive monkey is back in “CURIOUS GEORGE 2: FOLLOW THAT MONKEY,” the sequel to the 2006 animated hit movie.  The soundtrack to “CURIOUS GEORGE 2: FOLLOW THAT MONKEY” features the Rivieras hit “California Sun” performed by Brian Wilson as well as all new songs by Carbon Leaf, a special title track recorded by 429 Records’ artist Jackie Greene and an original score by Heitor Pereira.   Extensive retail and online marketing campaigns are planned globally in support of the soundtrack which will be released worldwide on March 2nd to coincide with the  release of the DVD.

  1. Back in the early 80s, I went to rent a video tape for the first time on our brand new VHS player. I didn’t know what to rent, and my mother recommended Curious George, as it was one of her favorites. I rented it, and of course loved that curious little monkey!

  2. The first Curious George movie was the first movie I took my son to on the “big screen” – he loved it! And interestingly, anytime the Jack Johnson song from that movie comes on he still remembers it from the movie and wants to listen to it. So we too are looking forward to the new movie and hearing the tunes from it!

  3. My favorite curious george book when I was little was curious george goes to the hospital. I used to check it out from my school library over and over!

  4. My great grandmother used to read me a Curious George book out on the sun porcha nd my grandparents house. It is one of my favorite memories.

  8. Love Curious George. I love seeing cartoons we watched as a kid coming back for our children to watch. I have to say the things we watched are a bit better then the new ones they have now. Curious George, the smurfs, my little pony all things my daughter watches now.

  9. I’m so excited that they are coming out with a second movie. It’s one of the shows I don’t mind sitting and watching with my kids, I think George is so cute.

  10. I love that Curious George always means well and that he is remorseful of the trouble he accidentally causes, I think it is nice for little ones to see that.
