  1. My tip is to plan something without the kiddies if possible. Send them to granma’s or hire a sitter and do something with your SO/Mate…even if its a romantic dinner for two, a walk in the park, a movie or a mini overnight trip.

  2. My tip is to have a baby on Valentine’s Day and it will always be special. (My “baby” turns 18 on Valentine’s Day.)

  3. Don’t overthink it all! Sometimes, my husband will do everything humanly possible to make valentines day perfect, all for everything not to work out perfectly! He always seems so stressed out in the end. Keeping things simple really goes a long way!

  4. I like to plan dinner at home with the kids. It’s less expensive than going out and more festive because I like to decorate the dining room and purchase little gifts for everyone. When my daughters were little, I’d add a little red food coloring to their milk to make them pink milk for Valentine’s day. They loved it! (We did green milk for St. Pat’s Day). Thanks for the giveaway!

  5. tip- When buying something for that special someone on Valentine’s day always check the stores clearance or reduced sections first, you may find a bargain!

  6. It doesn’t have to be expensive or fancy to be a romantic Valentine’s Day with your honey! A simple dinner at home with music and candlelight can be romantic.
