Clifford’s 10 Big Ideas on PBS

In celebration of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service on January 18th and the 10th Anniversary of Clifford the Big Red Dog, PBS KIDS and Scholastic Media will host a television event called, “Be Big with Clifford: Ten Days, Ten Ways.”  The series will run for two weeks and feature ten favorite Clifford episodes that focus on each of Clifford’s Ten Big Ideas.

Monday, January 18th – Help Others

Tuesday, January 19th – Have Respect 

Wednesday, January 20th – Work Together

Thursday, January 21st – Be Kind

Friday, January 22nd – Be Truthful

Monday, January 25th – Believe in Yourself

Tuesday, January 26th – Play Fair

Wednesday, January 27th – Be a Good Friend

Thursday, January 28th – Share

Friday, January 29th – Be Responsible

The intent of the episodes and the tv event is to help teach social and character building skills. “Be Big with Clifford: Ten Days, Ten Ways” also marks the second year of Scholastic’s Clifford BE BIG Program, which urges kids of all ages to use Clifford’s Big Ideas to make a positive change in the world.
