Hey there Shannon! I think I love the idea of romance in the air… , I love all the decorations ( although Cupids aren’t my fave… ) but I think just being with that special someone , no matter who it is… friend , spouse, lover or close family is really what its all about;)
I like the break between Christmas and Memorial Day. I like to send little gifts to my family to show my love. definitely like the Chocolates and flowers.

I’m not big on the whole flower aspect of the day. I do like that it’s about showing love for someone, even if it’s not your significant other. Since I AM single, it’s a bit depressing sometimes…sigh. hahah

As for what I like about Valentine’s Day, I love the pink. It’s my favorite color! I love the romance of it, and that it makes the tough men have to be sweet for once! 🙂 I also love that it doesn’t always have to be romantic – my parents always gave us kiddos Valentine’s gifts and I want to pass that tradition on my to my little man!
And one can’t forget the chocolates, goodies, and flowers! 🙂

I am way excited to enter this swap. I missed out on the holiday swap because of partners unfortunate circumstances. I wish her family all the best and no no no hard feelings. 🙂 I love valentines day for many reasons, the main reason it is my anniversary! This will be year 13 and we have a tradition of going to Red Lobster every year….not sure if we will this year. I love the little things I do for the kiddos on V day too. It is a great day to express love for those in our lives.

My DH’s birthday is the 11th, mine is the 13th, then we celebrate Valentine’s Day and our DD’s birthday is the 23rd. It’s a month of celebration for us.
